Rahul scored a century in a losing cause against GT

KL Rahul's unbeaten 112 runs off 65 balls against Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday was a sublime innings. However, the knock came in a long cause as Sai Sudharshan's maiden IPL ton trumped KL Rahul's fifth.

The Karnataka batter broke several records with his unbeaten century. However, his team did not win the crucial game and as a result, still stayed on 13 points after 12 games in IPL 2025.

After GT's win over DC, GT, RCB and PBKS qualified for the IPL 2025 playoffs. This means that the match between DC and MI on May 21 will be the decider as to who becomes the fourth team to qualify for the playoffs between the Capitals and Mumbai Indians.

Loss To GT Gets DC In Major Trouble

DC's loss to GT has put their campaign in a fix. They are on 13 points after 12 games and can get to a maximum of 17 points and make the playoffs.
